I would not have swum in the nude with Ernest Hemingway, played hostess to the Queen of England, had Ronald Colman as Godfather for my youngest daughter or entertained and been entertained by most of the famous movie stars of the 40’s (many of whom became dear friends), or even been groped at a Washington dinner party, had I not married that loyal member of the Foreign Service, Eric Arthur Cleugh. However, since my birth I was destined to meet ‘a number of famous people, the very first being almost the most famous of them all.
Buying the book…
This book is provided as an Adobe Acrobat PDF version 4 file only (A4 and US Letter page sizes). The reason being, to be perfectly honest, is that it is just far to time consuming and expensive to go with traditional paper. This way we only have to cover the costs of this web site and the actually selling of the book.
The price of the book is $US5. We feel that this is a very reasonable price and we hope that you do too.

Firstly, you will need to purchase the book. We have made this easy by setting up an automated system with Kagi. You can pay by credit card (pretty much any you can think of), cheque or money order. So, click on the link to Kagi below and it will take you to a purchasing form…

Once you have completed the purchasing transaction you will be emailed with confirmation and a password for the book. When you receive this email open the book and type in the password when you are prompted for it. |

If you haven't done so already, download the book by clicking on one of the links below…
Note : We have found it simpler to download Acrobat files to disk as your web browser will often want to open the file itself. Something which you may not want it to do. So, to save the Acrobat file to disk, right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Macintosh) on the appropriate link above and from the menu that pops up, select "Download to disk". You will then be asked where to save the file and usually it is easiest to download to your desktop.
